The outcome depends on the preservation of sources and the amount of initial information. This is a research-based service and does not guarantee a positive result.
What the service includes

- work with archival sources: church records, civil registers and related documents;
- search in specialised online databases and memorial resources;
- comparison and verification of collected data;
- on-site cemetery inspection and photo documentation when necessary;
- preparation of a written report with the results.
Result of the work
After completion, you will receive:
- the confirmed exact burial place;
- or a well-founded probable location;
- or a documented conclusion that no surviving records were found.
Information needed to start
It is helpful to provide:
- full name of the person and possible spelling variants;
- approximate date of death;
- place of residence or death;
- degree of relationship;
- any additional information such as documents, memories or photographs.
Even with limited data, a search may be possible, but timing and depth of results can vary.
When a search may be difficult
- the cemetery no longer exists;
- cemetery registers have been lost;
- the burial was unmarked;
- a long time has passed without documentary traces.
Service fee
The cost of the service is 150 €.
Not included in the price
- grave cleaning and maintenance;
- monuments and cemetery services.
