We help you discover your family history in Belarus and neighboring countries — Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, and Russia

We search archival records, reconstruct family trees, find relatives and burial sites. Professional, careful, and confidential.

We work with parish registers, revision lists, civil records, registry archives, lists of the repressed, military documents, and newspaper archives. We prepare reports with copies of documents, translations, and professional commentary. Respect for your family heritage is our guiding principle.

Our Story

Knowing your ancestors is the key to understanding yourself.

It all began with a simple yet deep curiosity about our roots...
More than 20 years ago, each of us tried to restore our family history. Along the way, we discovered that much of the information was either lost or inaccessible. The desire to solve family mysteries and honor the memory of our ancestors became our priority.

Inspired by our own research, we decided to join forces and create a company to help others who also wish to uncover their family stories. We realized that tracing one’s roots not only helps people learn about their past but also deepens their sense of identity and connection with history.

From the beginning, our mission was to make the research process as simple and accessible as possible. We have accumulated extensive experience and expertise in genealogical research, built a team of qualified specialists, and gained deep knowledge of working with archives and historical sources from different countries.

Today, Ancesto.info is a growing team that makes family history research easy for clients by handling all stages — from contacting archives to analyzing the findings.
